I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate supervised by Ashley Hendricks, LPC Supervisor, TX License #73665. I am a National Certified Counselor working toward my Child-Centered Play Therapy certification.
Everyone has the strength to overcome obstacles or achieve goals. My role as your therapist is to help you find that strength in yourself and support you on your journey. I utilize child-centered play therapy with children, and with adolescents and adults, I use person-centered therapy. No matter the age, however, I tailor each client's treatment plan to them by pulling from other therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral and solution-focused. My specialty is working with children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and/or who are on the autism spectrum. I also work with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing video games, watching anything nerdy/geeky, building LEGO, and playing with my six dogs.
