Deciding to go to therapy can be an overwhelming experience, but I hope to support and encourage clients on their counseling journey toward self-exploration and growth. I believe the client is the expert of their life and use my expertise to collaborate with clients in dealing with their life challenges. I tend to use an eclectic approach to the therapy process using CBT, DBT, and a variety of other skills based modalities to work with clients to manage thoughts and feelings. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, I aim to help clients recognize the impact their thoughts have on their feelings and behaviors and work together to identify and manage their cognitive distortions. 

As a therapist, I act as a guide for clients to help manage the ups and downs of life by providing healthy ways to cope with these experiences. From a strengths-based, person-centered perspective, I encourage clients to show up to therapy exactly as they are. Empathetically, I strive to build therapeutic rapport and create a trusting, safe environment for clients to share and express themselves authentically without fear of judgment.
