with Wright Wellness since 2024
A personal health crisis led me to the path of holistic healing. To make a long story short, it eventually led me to the Massage Therapy profession and the discovery of my calling and passion. During my journey as a Massage Therapist and Bodyworker, I learned about the deep connections between body and mind and the healing power of mindful touch.
In my practice, I use advanced massage and bodywork modalities in addition to the well known traditional Swedish massage. The sessions are customized to complement your healing journey. Pressure is adjusted to your comfort level and to support your optimal care. The modalities I use the most are the ones that have proven most effective working with many different clients presenting many different physical conditions, needs, and preferences.
A session may include but is not limited to:
Somatic Movement Bodywork with The TRAGER® Approach to Psychophysical Integration and Movement Education
Myofascial Therapy (CORE Institute)
Stretch-Release Bodywork - repetitive use injury prevention & rehabilitation
Classic Swedish Massage
The TRAGER® Approach is a Somatic Movement Therapy modality that helps release patterns of tension held in the brain. Gentle touch, soft weighing, rocking, jostling, and range of motion moves of the body and limbs induce a deep state of relaxation. The results are immediate and tangible improvements in circulation, flexibility, range of motion, and balance.
You will be shown how you can take the resulting sensations with you and recall & recreate them in everyday life. With TRAGER® work, we use the tensegrity of the muscular-skeletal system (kinetic chain) & neuromuscular interaction to stimulate neuroplasticity of the brain. The soothing, safe, and comfortable touch almost immediately switches the nervous system from sympathetic (fight and flight) to parasympathetic (rest and digest) resulting in a deep state of relaxation throughout body and mind. The gentle and safe movements create space in the joints to allow lubrication with synovial fluid and increase pain-free range of motion.
