Hi, I’m Amy Donahue. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with nearly two decades of experience walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through some of the hardest—and most transformative—seasons of their lives.

I became a therapist because I understand what it feels like to navigate deep emotions, complicated relationships, and life transitions that don’t come with a roadmap. My own experiences have shaped the way I show up in the therapy room: with compassion, honesty, and a genuine belief that people can heal, grow, and rebuild their lives in powerful ways.

Over the years, I’ve worked with clients facing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship struggles, addiction, and major life changes. I bring a blend of EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic work into my sessions—but more importantly, I bring curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to truly hearing your story.

My approach is down-to-earth and relational. I’m not here to judge or to rush your process. I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create the life you want—whether that means working through old wounds, setting healthier boundaries, strengthening your relationships, or rediscovering who you are outside of your stress and responsibilities.

I believe that healing happens when we feel safe, understood, and connected. My hope is that in our work together, you’ll find a space where you can breathe again, figure things out at your own pace, and make meaningful changes that last.

If you’re looking for a therapist who brings both clinical skill and genuine humanity into the room, I’d love to walk with you on your journey.
